Transnational Partners Meeting | Aalto University | Finland


On 26–27 May 2026, Aalto University (Espoo, Finland) hosted the second transnational partners meeting within the framework of the international project "Virtual Worlds Innovation Masters: Shaping Future Digital Skills Europe" (UPRAISE), funded under the Digital Europe programme. Dnipro University of Technology was represented by Kateryna Priazhnikova, Deputy Director of the Center for International Cooperation, and Vita Kashtan, Associate Professor of the Department of Information Technology and Computer Engineering.

The meeting marked an important transition from strategic planning to the development of practical educational tools. Participants focused on designing new curricula and short-term training courses aligned with the current demands of the digital market.


Key areas of focus during the meeting:

  • Building the UPRAISE digital ecosystem: integrating virtual learning environments with artificial intelligence to create personalised learning pathways. 

  • Implementing European micro-credentials: establishing a mechanism for issuing digital certificates via the Europass system to facilitate international recognition of acquired competencies. 

  • Knowledge and practice exchange: visiting the innovative laboratories of Aalto University to explore the integration of cutting-edge technologies into modern educational processes.

UPRAISE project opens new opportunities to integrate Dnipro University of Technology into the European digital education space and embed innovative solutions in the learning process.
